Robert H. Lustig, MD, UCSF Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Endocrinology, explores the damage caused by sugary foods. He argues that fructose (too much) and fiber (not enough) appear to be cornerstones of the obesity epidemic through their effects on insulin. From the Series: UCSF Mini Medical School for the Public [7/2009] [Health and Medicine] [Show ID: 16717]
This has got to be the best explanation of how fat stores in humans.
Watch Dr. Robert Lustig show how sucrose should be classified as a POISON.
He shows the complete biochemistry behind how FRUCTOSE causes fat to deposit on humans and how it leads to disease.
He is another REAL research doctor, not some feeble sales person trying to sell some magic supplement with tons of sugar.
This does not mean there are are no GOOD supplements. It is just that MOST supplements are simply rubbish.
